As a graduate of Iowa State University, she has over 8 years of experience and is a welcome addition to our Dogwood family. 

Dr. Cordova began her career in veterinary medicine as a kennel attendant in des Moines Iowa.  She attended Iowa State University and obtained a bachelor's degree in animal science and psychology. While attending school she worked at small animal practice as a receptionist and kennel technician. She then went on to attend veterinary school at Iowa State University and graduated in 2013. Dr. Cordova moved to Arizona shortly after and began her career in small animal medicine, where she practiced for 6 years before moving to Pueblo, Colorado to continue her career in private practice. She moved to NC in the spring of 2021. 

Dr. Cordova's primary interests include preventative care medicine, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She is also an avid reader.
